Terms and Conditions


Information on how to register a sale and how to claim a reward forms part of these terms and conditions.

1 GENERAL

1.1 Bradford SmartChoice (The Program) is a reward program for select builders (participants) who are sent an invitation to participate by Bradford Insulation, a division of CSR Building Products Limited, ABN 55 008 631 356 (Bradford).
1.2 The Program is designed to promote purchase of Bradford insulation products through nominated distributors of Bradford products (distributors).
1.3 As sales records are provided by the distributors, Bradford will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in those figures. Participants should ensure that details of all relevant purchases are properly noted by the distributor.
1.4 The Program Period commenced at 9.00am 1st September, 2005 and ceases at 10.00pm on 31 March 2007 (Program Period). The Reward Claim period commenced at 9.00am on 1 November 2005 and will cease at 5.00pm on 31 May 2007 (Reward Claim Period).
1.5 To the extent permitted by law, these terms and conditions may be changed or varied at Bradford’s absolute discretion at any time without notice and without assigning any reason therefore.
1.6 To the extent permitted by law, Bradford may, at is discretion, extend, vary, suspend or terminate The Program at any time.
1.7 Any notice under these terms and conditions will be deemed to have been given by Bradford if emailed to the address provided by a participant or if published on The Program website login page (www.smartchoicerewards.com.au)
1.8 The Program does not apply where it, or Bradford’s conduct of the program, would be prohibited or hindered by a relevant law, governmental direction or court order.
1.9 Bradford may, at its discretion, have an approved agent carry out all or part of The Program on its behalf. Where this occurs, the definition of Bradford in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to include such agent.
1.10 A reward is redeemed as a result of accumulation of points in The Program. Five (5) points is allocated for each $100.00 worth of valid sales. Points will only be awarded once a participant has purchased a minimum of $100.00 worth of Bradford insulation products. An addition five (5) points will be awarded for each further $100.00 worth of Bradford Insulation product purchased by a participant.
1.11 A valid sale occurs when a participant quotes his member number when purchasing Bradford products through a distributor during the Program period.
1.12 Points are allocated when distributors provide to Bradford a monthly report detailing total purchases of Bradford insulation products by each participant.
1.13 Rewards shown in the catalogue are indicative and for illustration purposes only.
1.14 Bradford has taken and will take all reasonable care to ensure that information in connection with The Program is accurate but does not accept liability relating to any errors or omissions.
1.15 Information provided by participants to participate in The Program remains the property of Bradford.
1.16 Bradford is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in The Program.

2 PARTICIPATION

2.1 The Program is only open to builders who are sent a written invitation to participate by Bradford.
2.2 Participants will be enrolled in The Program and become eligible for rewards when they register themselves on The Program website by completing the online registration form or by completing and sending a completed fax registration form.
2.3 In order to earn points towards rewards available through The Program, participants must quote their member numbers when purchasing Bradford insulation products through distributors during the Program Period.
2.4 Bradford insulation products include: ComfortSeal, EnviroSeal, Bradford SoundScreen, FireSeal, Handitube Bradford and Anticon and any other products that may be introduced by Bradford during the Program Period plus associated installation services provided by a distributor.
2.5 Points will be added to a participant’s points total when the distributor provides to Bradford a report listing sales to each participant for the previous month.
2.6 If a participant purchases from more than one distributor then points from each distributor will be added to the participant’s total.
2.7 Points do not become redeemable until the sale has been verified against various audited sales reports.
2.8 Bradford reserves the right to disqualify any participant from further participation in The Program if, in its judgement, that participant has in any way fraudulently attempted to claim sales or otherwise violated the rules and conditions herein. Suspension and disqualification may result in an individual’s accumulated points earnings being cancelled.

3 REWARD POINT ACCUMULATION

3.1 Points are accumulated for valid purchases by the participant of Bradford products and associated installation services during The Program Period and are allocated when a report is received by Bradford from the relevant distributor.
3.2 Points cannot be transferred from one participant to another and aggregation of points by individual participants is not possible.
3.3 Reward points have no cash value and accrue in the name of the participant who registered and are not transferable.

4 REWARD CLAIMS

4.1 Valid accumulated points can be redeemed for rewards only during the Reward Claim Period.
4.2 To claim a reward, the participant must have accumulated at least the number of points for the reward chosen.
4.3 Any accrued points remaining at the end of the Reward Claim Period will be null and void and not capable of redemption.
4.4 Unless unavailable, rewards will be dispatched to the work address of the eligible participant within 60 days of the end of the Reward Claim Period. Should the nature of the reward preclude delivery to the participant’s work address, the participant will be contacted for an alternative delivery address.
4.5 All rewards are subject to availability and supplier’s restrictions.
4.6 To the extent permitted by law, Bradford may, without notice, withdraw or substitute any reward for another reward for comparable description, value and nature. Where a suitable alternative is unavailable, the participant agrees to redeem their points for another reward from the catalogue.
4.7 Apart from the manufacturer’s standard warranty terms, Bradford does not accept any liability whatsoever with respect to rewards supplied and gives no warranty with respect to the quality of rewards or their suitability for any purpose.
4.8 All reward descriptions are based on information available at the commencement date of The Program. Installation and/or service is not included with any reward. 4.9 In the case of goods damaged during transit, Bradford, at its discretion, may replace reward or repair the item/s noted as damaged or faulty upon delivery where The Program administrator is notified within 3 days of receipt giving full details of damage and the name of the carrier.

5 TAXATION

5.1 Participants are not employed by Bradford and bear the sole responsibility for accounting for income and payment of all applicable taxes and duties (including but not limited to income tax).
5.2 Any tax liability arising from participation in The Program remains the responsibility of the participant and independent financial advice should be sought.
5.3 Bradford accepts no liability in respect of any tax liability of a participant arising from The Program.

6 PRIVACY

6.1 Bradford collects personal information to include participants in the reward program and award prizes. Bradford may also share participants’ information with other persons or entities who assist the Bradford in the promotion. By entering the reward program, each entrant agrees that Bradford may disclose entrants’ personal information in this manner and that Bradford may publish or cause to be published the participants’ name and locality in any media.
6.2 Bradford shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

1 Avis Reward Terms and Conditions
• One day Avis rental is one 24-hour period.
• Offer is valid at Australian participating locations only.
• Max. of 7 days per rental redemption.
• Rates include: Unlimited kms in metropolitan locations, 200kms in country locations, and 100kms in remote locations (Excess kms are charged at 27.5cents per km) and Loss Damage Waiver.
• Rates exclude: GST, Stamp duty/Administration fee, optional insurances, a non-waiverable excess of AUD$1,100 for car groups X,C,E and V and $1,650 for truck group A, petrol, excess kms, concession recovery fee and other miscellaneous charges.
• Prior booking is essential and subject to availability.
• SmartChoiceRewards Program Member vouchers are non-transferable and the member must call Avis on 136 333 and allow 5 days notice.
• All standard Avis driver and credit requirements apply.
• One way rentals are not allowed.

Redemption Period: Until the 30th June 2007.
