Making the most of your metal roof...

Whether your home is traditional or contemporary, a metal roof can make a stylish statement. But for performance as well as looks you should ensure that Anticon roofing blanket is installed under the roof metal.

Want to know more?

What is Anticon?

Anticon combines two very effective forms of insulation into a single product for maximum performance. It consists of a glasswool blanket - the world's most popular insulation - adhered to a reflective foil facing. The reflective foil acts as a barrier, which reflects up to 95% of radiant heat entering your roof cavity and prevents condensation, while the blanket absorbs outside noise and slows the transfer of heat into and out of your home.

Anticon has a 150mm foil overlap for added condensation protection.

Benefits at a Glance
Providing thermal insulation to keep out the summer heat and stop the  warmth leaving your home in winter

 Reducing rain and aircraft noise

Preventing condensation forming under the roof which can cause staining and potentially damage timber rafters

Reducing load on heating and air-conditioning helping to save energy costs and protect the environment

Helping retard the spread of flame in the event of a roof-space fire

Reducing "metal creep" - creaking noises which can occur when there are sudden temperature changes

Guaranteed for the life of the home

Energy Efficiency

All new homes in Australia are now required to meet minimum standards of energy efficiency. Including Anticon in your roof will help meet the regulatory requirements.

Anticon comes i n a range of R values so, no matter where you are, there is a system to meet your needs. Or representative will be happy to advise you of the best system for your job.

Now's your chance

Anticon  is simple to install but only while you're building your home or replacing the roof. It rolls out over the purlins before the metal roofing is fixed on, so this is your opportunity to ensure you enjoy the additional comfort, peace and savings of an Anticon insulated roof.
